Jack got an awesome pair of lizard converse sneakers in the mail today from his Grammimi and Grandpa Wool.
He has never had shoes with laces on them, but apparently that wasn't going to stop him! Unbeknownst to his mommy, he knew " how" to tie his laces... The fine art of actually doing it is something we will now have to work on! But as for a first attempt, I was impressed! He must be learning this at daycare!

Michael, the Comedian
Baby Orrell, "Joey Doey" as we affectionately call him at Jack's suggestion, has been VERY active in his last weeks onboard the Mothership. Last night, he was moving around so much and so aggressively, that I commented to Mike that I was shocked that my water didn't break with all his kicking and pushing. Mike's response... "well, your water never broke with Jack, maybe you just have Hard Water."
HaHaHa! Very funny dear!

Had to Laugh and Share....
So I was 38 weeks yesterday and I got my weekly Pregnancy Update from Babycenter.com Each week they give you an update on the baby's development and how big the baby is. They always compare the baby's length or weight to a friut or vegetable so that you have a frame of reference. For 38 weeks, they said that the baby was as long as leek, so I clicked on the link to see what a leek looks like. It is a long thin vegetable that resembles a Green Onion/Scallion, but a little thicker… “Huh”, I thought… “that’s cool, I wonder what weird or exotic vegetable he will be next week?” So I click the next button in the weekly vegetable slide show and for 39 weeks it is a WATERMELON!!! Come on! Really! As if I didn’t feel big enough!!! And guess what week 40 is! A PUMPKIN!!! Good Grief!

Big Brother Class
Jack attended a big brother class last night at the Hospital where his baby brother will be born. He learned how to take care of the baby, how to hold the baby and what the baby will do when he first arrives. Then we got to see a baby in the nursery and see the rooms where mommy will stay! Jack had a great time and did a good job practicing with his Curious George.
God, I love this child... Such a happy boy! Jack is going to be an awesome big brother!

Photoshoot
We had some great photos taken last weekend. Once again, Jack was a total HAM infront of the photographer, posing and dancing and showing off his "moves". Here are our favorites. If you would like copies of anything, just let me know!

Chef Jacque
Winnie the Pooh Song
Jacks favorite show lately has been Winnie the Pooh. Here he is singing the introduction to Winnie the Pooh before we can start reading the book. Sounds like he got his singing "talents" from his mom! : )

Choo Choo!
Last Friday Jack got to spend the evening with Lizzie and Karen! Lizzie, being wonderful wig kids, entertained Jack with a gingerbread choo choo train that looks like entertained them for hours!
Thanks again Liz! And thanks for the great pictures Karen!

Inspector Jack!
Hey! That's not where that goes!
Goofy guy!
Silly kids!
The finished product!!! Frankly, I'm unite shocked by how much candy actually made it to the train and wasn't consumed in the manufacturing process!

Christmas Time
Jack was so excited to see Santa Claus this year!
Santa even gave him a present ahead of time.
Mrs. Claus was there too... A rare treat as she is usually up at the North Pole, managing Toy Production!

July 4th Holiday
We traveled to NY to visit Mommy's family for the 4th of July weekend.
Saturday was the McMahon Family Reunion out at "camp". Jack had the opportunity to play with all of his cousins that we never get to see on our "regular" visits. We fianlly realized where Jack's curly hair comes from! Almost all of the kids his age had the same curly hair... Molly and Jack hit it off right away. Molly is 3 weeks older than Jack, but they could have passed as twins! Thanks for a great weekend Poppa!
Monday, we went to the Zoo with Gramimi. They just re-opened the new Elephant Exhibit and Jack was excited to see them!
There they are!
And the penguins enthralled him for a while
After the Zoo, we went out to Skaneateles for lunch where Jack did his best sabre tooth tiger impression.
Thank you to all for such a wonderful weekend!
