Happy 2nd Birthday Jack!

Saturday, August 21st was Jack's 2nd Birthday. We celebrated in grand fashion with many of Jack's Family and Friends. Thank you to everyone who came and joined us.

Over the past few weeks Jack have been talking non-stop about "Tommy Choo-Choo". At first it took us a bit to understand that he was talking about Thomas the Tank Engine. He loved his "Tommy Choo-Choo Ceake" and still talks about it.

Everyone seemed to have a great time even though the sun stayed behind the clouds.

Jack and Raina getting ready to jump!

Raina really seemed to like keeping an eye on what Jack was doing. Too Cute!

Daddy with a Pair of Jacks! They look cold!

Daddy getting ready to grill the burgers and dogs!

Jack and Dylan and Jack spent a good 30 min occupying themselves by jumping on the blue rafts. Back and forth, back and forth they would go. There weren't too many bumps or bruises, but the adults did feel it necessary to pull the chairs up the hill every once and a while.

Peek-a-boo Jack!

Finally, Queen Grace got in the mix and planted herself right in one of the seats! Silly girl!

Jack's Godmother Courtney "Corkey" came in town for the big event! It was so nice to have you here!

Opening presents became a bit of a mad rush with all the kids wanting to help. It was fun though!

Jack and his friends!

Before everyone left, we took the kids out on a Kid Boat ride! They all seemed to enjoy themselves and had fun taking turns driving the boat!

Visit from Dama Mimi and Grampa Wool

Jack's Dama Mimi and Grampa Wool came to visit the week before Jack's birthday. Here are some of the highlights of their adventures!

Err- Finger Painting? More like warrior body painting!

Right... we are still finding blue paint on the porch!

They decided to make "Pash-ta?!" Jack's favorite dinner choice!

Mangi Jack!

They went for a walk in the woods up behind our house!

Jack decided that the Giraffe in his room needed a change of scenery, so he dragged him downstairs all by himself!

Jack went naked swimming!

And made eggs for mommy in the morning.

They visited the local playground!

And in Jack's spare time, he checked his Blackberry for RSVP's to his birthday party!

On Thursday, Mommy joined them at the beach in Kennebunkport, ME where Jack made an attempt to dig to China...

But didn't get too far.
Jack and Dama Mimi read "If you give a Moose a Muffin" over and over and over throughout the week. So one morning, we decided to have Moose Muffins with Jam for breakfast! Yummy!

And of course, we visited the HORSES!
Jack practicing leading the horses! Just kidding!

Aww! Mommy and Jack, enjoying Jack's last day as a 1 year-old!

Jack's first Ski Show!

Aug 14th, Jack participated in his first Ski Show Parade!

He and Daddy were on the surf board behind the boat.

Jack enjoyed most of the day napping under a tree! What a life!
