May, June, July... Oh, My!

No, we did not fall off the face of the Earth, just the internet!

Many of you have made us aware of the fact that Jack's blog has not been undated since the begining of May! I hope that this will quench your thirst. I sincerly appologize to those who have been waiting and waiting, and I hope that all the pictures below will explain to you how busy we have been! It has been a fun couple of months for Jack and his parents! So buckle up... Here we go down memory lane!

Memorial Weekend! Party at Camp David with Jack and his girlfriend Haley!

Jack, learning the joy and wonder of Corn-on-the-cob! Now his favorite veggie.

A quick day trip to Maine with Grammimi and Momma. We did some shopping in Kennybunk Port and then walked to the Beach which proved to be quite a long walk despite the cartoon map that we looked over at lunch!

The trip to the Beach was the first time Jack visited the Atlantic Ocean.

He was a bit wary at first then had a blast chasing and being chased by the waves!!!

Jack and Momma!

Jack had a nice visit to the lake with his cousins, Jared and Justin!

Daddy taught Jack how to ride the surfboard...

And in no time he was behind the boat!

July 4th weekend Jack really took to the water and learned how to swim!

Swimming with the Boys!

He quickly moved on to Jumping into the water, but didn't want anyone to catch him... "No momma, back! Back!" he would say and dismiss us away with his hands. Mr. Independant!

The week after the 4th we went to visit Grammimi, Grandpa Wool, Poppa and Gramma Mo in Syracuse. Boy was it HOT that week! We spent one night at Pleasant Lake with Poppa and it was so hot, we forgot to take pictures! Sorry about that! Jack had a blast playing with his cousins, going on an adventure walk around the lake and of course, swimming! Thank you Poppa!

At Grammimi and Grampa Wool's house, Jack beat the heat with a fruit pop and his demin diapers!

We went to Watkins Glen and had a great time hiking up the gorge! Everyone commented that they liked Jack's choice of trasportation! Daddy carried him up and Momma carried him down!

Watkins Glen

Grammimi's neighbor was nice enough to invite us to swim in their pool. Here is Jack telling Grammimi to back up. He wants to jump himself!

The following week, Jack had a great time when Grammimi and Grampa Wool came to town to spend a few days with Jack. They did a lot together while Momma and Daddy were at work. Here are some of the highlights!

They went down to Aunt Linda's to visit the "Hor-she"

Aunt Linda let Jack sit on Baron! Whoa!

One of the days, they went to Salem to visit some of Grampa Wool's friends for lunch and then went to Crane's Beach! Jack, now an expert swimmer, decided he wanted to try his hand at Life Gruarding, with the ever wary eyes of his friend Elmo!

Their final adventure brought them to the local playground were Jack had a blast on the slides and swings!

And some watering the ...err... flowers?!

This takes us into Mid-July when we went to Camp David for Lobster Fest 2010! Thank you very much Dave and Shirly for hosting us!

Jack with Heather and Jared.

That night, Daddy and Jared broke out the ultimate Slip'n'Slide. Jack had fun going down!

The next day, Momma left for Germany. The first day of her trip she travelled to visit Neuschwanstein Castle in southern Germany, after that excursion, the rest of the trip was spent in the plant!

The weekend Momma returned, was the Wilson/Hargraves Family Reunion on the Lake! All of Jacks cousins were there and they all had a blast in the water! Thank you Uncle David and Aunt Ellen for hosting and thanks to Meema for organizing it!

This brings us to last week when we had a "spur of the moment" dinner/play date with Jack's friend Liam and his parents! The boys had fun together!

Friday, we were honored with a visit from Jack's Uncle Adam! We met him in Boston after he arrived and spent the day walking around Fanuiel Hall, Rose Kennedy Walk and the Childrens Museum.

At the Rose Kennedy Walk, the city put out all these great yard toys for kids to play with! Jack had a great time!

We then went to the Children's Museum. There was so much for Jack to see and do, it was hard to get him to leave one room and go to the next!
The Golf Ball Races

Bubbles

More Bubbles

A Turtle's-eye-view of ....Turtles. Very Cool!

and Rock Wall Climbing...

That night, Uncle Adam and Momma went to the Red Sox Game! They lost, but it was a great game in the end!

On Saturday, Momma and Daddy went to a Luau down at the lake. Jack liked the Hibscus in Momma's hair and wanted a flower for his own hair.

Daddy and Momma had a great time!
OK, I hope that you have enjoyed the last three months as much as we have... I hope that we can update the blog for you more often in the future! In the meantime! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
