A little behind

So we are a little behind in updating the blog. March 28th Jack decided that he was sick and tired of being immobile and started crawling around the living room rug. The first few moves were very hesitant, but with Mommy's keys as the reward, he pushed himself on. Just 5 days later he was going from one end of the room to the other and this morning he was doing laps up and down the hallway!!! He has really enjoyed this new-found freedom and is much happier (if that is possible) now that he came be independent.

Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the past two weeks to update you on how we are doing.

Liz and Jack and I went shopping for some Easter clothes and regular clothes for Jack since he has grown out of almost everything that he has. Of course, the outfits that still fit him are awfully cute, so we dressed him up for our day out!

We knew that we wanted to get a driving hat for Easter. We went to lots of stores and tried on lots of hats... We felt like Goldilocks

Some were too small...

Some were too plaid....

And one was just right.... but you will have to read on to see that one...

Afterward, we went over to Liz's house for dinner with her family and grandparents, Marilyn and Emmy.

This past Sunday, Jack was not feeling well. He finally fell asleep and we were able to put him down on a blanket on the floor without him waking up. Molly came over and laid down next to him. It was too cute! As if she knew that he was sick.

So we took Jack to the doctors that morning when his fever reached 101. The doctor gave us a stronger dose of antibiotics because his ear infection from a few weeks prior was still not gone and told us to give him Tylenol for the fever.

By 4PM he was a NEW baby! Happy and crawling all over the place. We decided to bring him to Grampy's Birthday party after all and dressed him up in some of what he will be wearing for Easter... Here is a sneak peek and the "just right" hat...

My First Photo Shoot

My Godmother Heather asked if she could take my picture to put on a T-Shirt for a walk that she is doing with RH White Construction. Here are some of our favorites. We'll see which ones make the T-Shirt.

Still Standing

Jack is not even going to bother learning how to crawl. He wants to go right from sitting to standing. He will be running around chasing the dog before we know it!

Boston

Two weekends back, Grandpa Mike and Maureen came into town. We went into Boston to go see Liz play basketball.

We walked over to Fenway park and although Wally the Green Monster was not there to play, Jack had fun being the Saints' Mascot and cheering on the team!

After the game we went to Minado, an all you can eat Sushi Bar in Natick. Jack ate his normal dinner, but then wanted to try some of what we were having. He ate Sticky rice, Avacado and Seaweed Salad! Yummy!

Week of Grandmothers!

Jack is such a lucky boy! This past weekend Grandma Kathleen came to visit. Of course, Grandma was the one taking all the pictures so we dont have any of her, but here are some of our favorites from the weekend!

Just gorgeous!

Jack has conquered sitting and loves playing with all the more advanced toys now.

This week Johanna, Jack's day care provider, is on vacation so Grandma Phyllis just had to baby sit! What a heartache! Jack has enjoyed every moment of this week spent with Grandma Phyllis. The have had many visitors and gone for walks in between the bottles and naps!
Jack loves to smile for the camera! I have to congratulate Phyllis for this picture... This is the very first time that I have seen Mike in Jack...
