Febrrrrruary

Brrr, February was cold and snowy around here. Here is a re-cap of what Jack was up to this month.

Grandma Kathleen sent these pictures from her last visit.

He and Jack and cousin Elaine made a snow family out in the back yard. It was perfect snow for snowmen.
There was a Mommy snowman holding a Baby Jack snowman and a Daddy snowman with a hard hat and shovel.
There was even a Molly SnowDOG! How creative!

Then Jack made a Snow Angel, although I am sure that he was assisted!

After all that time in the fresh air, they all came in and Jack made lunch.

Valentine's Fun: Jack made some nice Valentine's day cards for some special friends. His first big art project! Needless to say he enjoyed making a mess more than making the cards.

On Valentines Day, Aunt Shelley and Uncle Jonathan had all the Family over for a day on the ice! What fun we had riding the snow mobiles and Utility Vehicles.

Jack and Daddy on the Snow Mobile!

Jack loved playing with and watching his cousins Emma and Cory play. They were big kids and Jack followed them everywhere around the house!

Jack taking a break from eating to talk to Grandma Kathleen.
He is talking a lot lately. Most of it is mumbo-jumbo, but every once and a while you can catch something that makes sense. He can recite the sound of every mammal, half the reptile kingdom and a dirt bike. He is learning his manners by saying Please and Thank you, although it sounds more like "Peas" and "Dog Poo". I'll try to get a video of it and post some time before he learns how to say it correctly. He can count to 2 and if he is in a counting mood, sometimes you can get a 3 and a 4 out of him. He is quite a personality and knows that it is funny to perform everything that he says and does. He like to see peoples reactions to the "Jack Show".
Yes, that is pickles and vanilla yogurt. He has quite an appetite too!

Jack's Great Grandparents came over for a nice dinner one night and brought some cream puffs for dessert. Jack enjoyed the sweet treat!

...And so they both got kisses that night! They always said "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach"... I guess the same can be said for little boys, too!

The next day, Jack had a play date with some of his daycare friends. Here are the pair of Jack's sharing a toy...

After Jack showed his Friends all of his toys, we all went outside to go sledding on the few inches of snow that we had left in the back yard. Everyone had a great time!

Jack , Gracie, and Jack tubing down the hill!
Jack and Jack relaxing on the tub! Boy its a tough life being pushed up a hill in a tube and then riding down...over and over and over...
Last week was Grandma Phyllis's "39th" Birthday! Grandpa really enjoyed giving Jack the cream filling from dessert!
And Jack enjoyed spending some cuddle time with Grandma Phyllis! Happy Birthday Phyllis!

This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous. We spend the better part of Saturday outside. I was reviewing the pictures deciding what to post and what the story would be and it came very ... ummm, shall we say "naturally"...
Jack began the morning all bundled up. He played in the mud and the stream and got sufficiently dirty by little boy standards.
As the morning wore on and the weather got warmer, the layers began to come off. Jack found a new game called, "Carry me around in the Recycle Bin". Well, at least it wasn't the trash bucket!
By lunchtime, one less layer of clothing, one more layer of dirt.

Until finally...
Boys will be Boys! Enjoy!!!

January Fun

New Years Eve seems like so long ago now. Here is Jack's January in review.

NYE we spent with Gramma and Grampa Orrell. Jack's cousin Avery stopped by to play.

Jack get 'er done.

Jack went to the Aquarium with Grandma Kathleen, Grandpa Will, Mom and Dad. Here he is making fishy faces at Nemo.

We saw all sorts of aquatic life.

Then after, we walked around to Boston Harbor.

After the Aquarium, we went to the Chart House for dinner. Jack had Ketchup. The Chicken and French Fries were merely Ketchup delivery devices.

The following weekend, we spent the day in the White's Woods. Notice Jack on the right.

He really wanted to sit like that. He kept slinking down off my lap, dazed by the fire.

A nice picture of Mom and her two babies.

Last weekend we went to RPI to see Aunt Kirsten play basketball.

Then we went out to dinner and Jack had more Ketchup.

Our friends Chris and Kate Aguiar had their baby, Joshua. Here is Jack kissing the baby.

Christmas

Thank you to everyone who was a part of our Christmas Holiday this past year. Jack was blessed with many gifts from so many people who love him!

We celebrated Christmas with dad's side of the family before we left for New York. Thank you to Meema, Grammy, Grampy, Gramma Phyllis, Grampa Gary, Uncle Greg and Aunt Kirsten for celebrating with us! We had a great time!

We travelled to Syracuse to spent the holiday with mom's family! We had a wonderful time visiting with so many wonderful family and friends! Thank you to everyone! Here are some nice pictures highlighting the Holiday!

Christmas Eve was at Aunt Nancy & Uncle Rick's house!

The best part of the night is opening the Dermady Family Calendar and looking at all the great pictures! Good work, yet again, Uncle Marty!

The Golf Glasses came out again! and this time everyone got their turn trying them on! This one is going in next year's calendar!

The next morning, Jack work up to see all the presents that Santa left!

Once Uncle Adam got out of bed and took a shower (to make sure that he looked good in the Christmas Morning Pictures), Jack started opening his presents. To thank Adam, we let him open all the toys that were practically superglued into their packages! But doesn't he look good?!

A typical toddler, more interested in the packaging then the actual present!

Later that morning, we went to Poppa Mike's for more Christmas festivities!

Both Poppa Mike and Grandma Mo's kids were all there, so we got a nice picture of everyone!

We also go a nice Family Portriat with Grandma Kathleen and Grandpa Will and the dogs too!

Jack was a very happy boy!

It was a very fun weekend! Thank you again! We love you!

Waiting for Santa

Just because...

Just some nice pictures of the family before Christmas.

Sledding & the Clydesdales

What a snowy winter we have had so far! Before the Christmas Holiday, we had a big batch of snow fall. Jack's cousin Avery was in from VA and came over to go tubing with Jack in his backyard! They weren't huge fans of going down the hill, but they did like being pushed around in the tubes!
They next day, Jack, Mom and Aunt Shelley went to Sturbridge to see the Budweiser Clydesdales and the Dalmatian! Although we weren't able to capture a picture of Jack smiling, he did enjoy the horsies!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Last Saturday night we were dumped on with beautiful white snow. The following morning was a Winter Wonderland in our backyard. Luckily, Poppa Mike was staying the weekend and took some nice family photo's of us in the woods for our Christmas Card. You will have to wait and see what the chosen photos were!

Our backyard on Sunday morning.

Walking up the back hill into the woods.

Molly, Poppa Mike, Michael, and Jack.

Can you find Molly? She thinks that she is hiding!

Jack, just chillin' in the backpack!

Once he got out of the pack, Jack did not want to stand still for a picture.

As many times as we tried, different locations, different poses... Jack did not want any of it!

Check back to see the final product or check your mail in a week or so!

You say "Spaghetti", Jack says "Fun"

Oh, don't worry, he got his belly too!
